In 2021, we are embarking upon a Strategic Planning Process to promote the continued health and progress of Alabama Waldorf School.
This is a community effort, and we look forward to engaging with you as we create
a vision for the future.
Read below to learn more and to get involved.
WHAT IS A
Strategic Plans are created by assessing the current state of an organization through examining internal and external factors that contribute to, or challenge, its success and progress. Upon identifying these, and analyzing the potential investment and return, a
short to long term plan can be outlined and implemented to ensure productive direction and outcomes for AWS' students, faculty, and families.
WHO IS INVOLVED?
It is an inclusive and transparent process. All of our all major governance parties; Board of
Trustees, Faculty & Staff and the Family
Association (that includes ALL parents), plus
key stakeholders, such as alumni, former families, and former personnel, will be asked for their input and participation.
IT SOUNDS LIKE
A BIG DEAL!
It is! The AWS strategic planning process will take place over the course of nearly a year, and will result in a one to five year plan.
Behind the effort of the process is energizing and rewarding work that serves as a reminder and a
recommitment to everything we love about,
and want for the future of, AWS.
