PHASE I: INFORMATION GATHERING & ANALYSIS (MAY - JULY 2021)
We begin by gathering input on our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and
threats. All areas of the organization are open to discussion; from curricula,
staffing, building and grounds, to marketing & development, recruiting, retention,
Short surveys will be circulated to current and past parents, faculty, admin, and
alumni so that everyone can have a chance to share their insight, plus a committee
of Board Members, Faculty, Staff, Parents, and Community Members will convene
to collate this information into guiding principles, and tangible priorities.
PHASE II: LAYING THE FOUNDATION (AUGUST - DECEMBER 2021)
Once priorities are set, subcommittees will form to create objectives to achieve
these goals. These may be existing committees of the Faculty, FA, or Board, or they
may be created, and contain members from any of the three governance
bodies, and the community-at-large.
Subcommittees will research and develop plans for executing their objectives,
including budgets, timelines, personnel/volunteer needs, and more.
PHASE III: DOING THE WORK (BEGINNING JANUARY 2022)
Once the objectives have been planned out through execution, the plan will be
presented to the community and the work will begin. Some priorities may be able to
start right away (such as organizing, training, and hiring) and others may involve
capital campaign development, or long range planning (such as building
construction or adding grade levels).
