Family Association
All parents & guardians are automatically members of the Family Association. The Family Association is an equal governance body of the school, alongside the College of Teachers and the Board of Trustees.
Engage and Participate
All parents and guardians are automatically enrolled as members of the Family Association, an essential governing body within the school structure, alongside the College of Teachers and the Board of Trustees. The Association convenes regularly throughout the school year, promoting and welcoming active family involvement. In the organizational metaphor of the school, the Family Association serves as the hands, complementing the Board of Trustees as the head and the College of Teachers as the heart.
The Family Association holds responsibility for fostering parent-to-parent connections, showing appreciation for teachers, steering events, and providing support during workdays and grounds-related activities. Close collaboration with the Administration is maintained for the successful execution of these projects.
In the spirit of community, all parents and guardians are sincerely invited to volunteer through the Family Association in various capacities throughout the year. Opportunities include participating in workdays, taking on roles as room parents, contributing to event planning committees, volunteering at information tables or activity booths during school and community events, and addressing miscellaneous needs as they arise.

Family Association Dues
The suggested dues for the Family Association are a minimum of $50 annually per family. While optional, any contribution is valued. These dues contribute to a budget covering childcare for meetings and workdays, refreshments, gifts for teachers based on years of service, and the maintenance of playground equipment. Dues can be paid through the provided link or via Venmo @Michelle-Fair-14. Your support is appreciated!
Teacher Gifts

The Family Association collects money in December and May for teacher gifts. This is because teachers have let us know that they would specifically prefer a monetary gift in lieu of any other item.
This is one of the best, most concrete ways we as the Family Association (FA) can support our amazing teachers and staff, each of whom is so committed to growth and wellbeing of our children.
