In eighth grade, students begin analyzing historical and cultural movements, deepening their capacity for judgment, and formalized testing.

Science:  Organic chemistry, physiology, and physics


English & Grammar:  Grammar, compositions, business and practical

writing


Literature:  Shakespeare, epic and dramatic poetry, folklore


World Languages:  Sentence structure, reading and retelling of stories, review of learned material


Geography:  Asia, Australia, Antarctica; global contrasts, global commerce and economics


History:  1700– present: Revolutions: French, American, Indian, Industrial, Civil Rights movement
