Fifth Grade
In fifth grade, children begin to observe and become curious about what is coming in their teen years. Some are beginning to experience these changes in themselves. It is a time for reflection, solidifying foundations, and exploration.

Science: Zoology--lesser known animals, botany
English & Grammar: Active and passive, subject and predicate, syntax, writing
Literature: Greek, Indian, and Egyptian mythology, biographies
World Languages: Literature, grammar, proverbs, conversation
Geography: United States geography
History: India, Persia, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Africa
