Summer Programs at Alabama Waldorf School

At Alabama Waldorf School, our summer programs offer enriching experiences for children of all ages. We provide a variety of camps for grades 1-8 and special summer sessions for Kindergarten and Nursery children, each designed to meet the unique needs of different age groups.

Grades Camps (1-8)

Our grades camps provide unique and fun experiences to students in grades 1-8. Summer Camps offer activities that support their love of learning and creativity. These are opportunities for students to engage in hands-on projects, explore new interests, and develop skills in a fun and supportive environment. From arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, our grades camps ensure that every child has a fun-filled and enriching summer experience.

Kindergarten and Nursery Summer Sessions

For our younger learners, we offer special summer sessions for Kindergarten and Nursery children. These sessions focus on nurturing the developmental needs of our youngest students through play-based learning, sensory activities, and gentle guidance. Our experienced teachers create a warm and caring environment where children can explore, create, and grow at their own pace.

Meaningful Summer Programs

Both our grades camps and the Kindergarten and Nursery summer sessions are designed to provide meaningful and enjoyable summer experiences that support children's development. For school-age children, our camps offer a chance to continue learning and growing outside of the traditional classroom setting, keeping their minds active and engaged. For our youngest children, the summer sessions provide a consistent and nurturing environment that helps them transition smoothly from the school year to summer and back again.

At Alabama Waldorf School, our summer programs are crafted to meet the diverse needs of our community, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive during the summer months.

"Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity."
