Each week, your child can enjoy a delicious slice of cheese pizza from local favorite Slice , with a gluten-free crust option available at checkout. Your child's pizza will be delivered to their classroom by Ms. Bradley’s students, turning lunchtime into both a special treat and a shared act of support for Ms. Bradley's class trip. *Pizza orders placed after 5 pm on Wednesdays will begin the following week. Tuition alone does not cover what it takes to educate our students. The Annual Fund seeks to cover 20% of expenses that are not met by tuition and helps maintain the generous financial aid program that assists over 35% of our families.     The Family Association at Alabama Waldorf School supports community-building, volunteer engagement, and collaboration between parents, guardians, and faculty. Learn how to get involved and strengthen our vibrant school community. Family Association All parents & guardians are automatically members of the Family Association. The Family Association is a guiding body of the school, supporting Faculty, Administration, and the Board of Trustees. Engage and Participate All parents and guardians are automatically enrolled as members of the Family Association, a guiding body within the school structure. The Association convenes periodically throughout the school year, promoting and welcoming active family involvement. In the organizational metaphor of the school, the Family Association serves as the hands, complementing the Board of Trustees and Admin as the head and the Faculty and College of Teachers as the heart. The Family Association holds responsibility for fostering parent-to-parent connections, showing appreciation for teachers, engaging volunteers for events, and providing support during workdays and grounds-related activities. Close collaboration with the Administration is maintained for the successful execution of these projects. In the spirit of community, all parents and guardians are sincerely invited to volunteer through the Family Association in various capacities throughout the year. Young children will maintain daily rhythms similar to those they experience throughout the school year. These rhythms will continue to contribute to a child's feeling of security and stability at school. Encourage Social Interaction. Building relationships with other children fosters a sense of confidence as they form connections and friendships their community. Support Emotional Well-Being.
